I must admit I didn't truly love Mr. Snicket until book the sixth. They get much much better than the first few.

I read nine, and that was enough.
Though I would sort of like to know what happens, I seem to have run out of bookfairs.

That's what everyone says -- they get better. So I really should buckle down and do it.
I just HATED Uncle Monty so, SO much. People keep telling me to skip to Book Six or so and go from there, but I'm one of those who has difficulty reading out of order. So lame.
Anyway. I should just suck it up and do it, yes? I have plenty of time to read them all before XIII comes out.

It will take you maybe 3 days.

Yeah, I figured writing them up will probably take longer than reading them. I snagged the first three from the library today.
I need a damn laptop.

You just have to get past the repetitive plots & focus on the narration. I agree about the book 6 thing.
