A minority of two. I didn't care for it, either. I thought all the book had going for it was the voice, and it just wasn't enough to make up for all the other failings.

Leila

And I really DID like the voice -- at first. But he just got so repetitive. Sad.

Nice to know that I'm not alone.

Colleen

I don't hate you Leila! We all have our likes and dislikes!

I read the description of this book and it was enough for me to pass it by. Too silly sounding. Go read Kipling's Choice! It's historical fiction, it's war fiction and it's about Rudyard Kipling. Just a wonderfully written book. Skip this junk and get to the good stuff!

Jackie

Oh. And I kinda wanted to read it...

Leila

Give it a try, Jackie -- judging from the reviews, I'm in the minority about this one.
