L. Frank Baum -- The Bags.

Listened to this one yesterday and thought I would die -- it's wonderfully hilarious.  Seriously, we were driving to Portland and had to pull over because we were laughing so hard -- these guys are AWESOME.

For those (like me) who are old or more used to, you know, being able to make out the lyrics, I've provided them below.  And it's much easier to understand them on the actual CD.  (Scroll down at that site for a two minute excerpt.)

Also, Josh wants me to recommend their song "Mount Rockmore", which can be heard in its entirety at their MySpace page.

Lyrics:

Witch in the Sky
Surrender D.O.R.O.T.H.Y.

Wizard behind the curtain
of your power I am certain
There's no place like home
and I'm so far from home

Run Scarecrow run
through the country
Run Scarecrow run
from the flying monkey
Run Scarecrow run
Run Scarecrow run, Run Scarecrow run

Follow the Yellow Brick Road
The Emerald City shines like gold
and diamonds my friend
And we're so near the end

Run Tinman run
through the country
Run Tinman run
from the flying monkey
Run Tinman run
Run Tinman run, Run Tinman run

Your ruby slippers will carry you away
back to Kansas to live your life away
And never will you forget this magical day
Auntie Em, Auntie Em
Such a magical day, hey hey hey

Somewhere over the rainbow
so far away
Lives a mighty Wizard
The Wizard of Oz they say
Follow the Yellow Brick Road
through the field of poppies
Oh no!  Now you're getting sleepy

Land of witches and munchkins
and talking trees
Land of Good and Evil
Do you believe
in the magical Wizard
O don't you see
The Wizard is just a man
like you and me

L. Frank Baum, etc.

Run Toto run
through the country
Run Toto run
from the flying monkey
Run Toto run
Run Toto run, Run Toto run
