"Because it was not a required piece of reading, we said that we would acknowledge their concerns and provide an alternative piece of reading."  What has surprised Morelle is that the issue did not seem to have gone away this week, with one of the parents in question appearing on TV speaking about the issue.

I wonder what the folks at the Blog of Unnecessary Quotation Marks would make of that one.

Oh, that's hilarious. So many of the comments say "Just look at the title! INAPPROPRIATE!" when it's actual about "killing" his unpopular self. As in, changing himself... not actual murder. Sigh. None of the people who commented against the book mention actually reading the story, either. Of course.
