Also, Justine Larbalestier is a lazy extrovert. Me too.

Listed below are links to weblogs that reference John Green talks about Steinbeck... and Edward Cullen. Oh, also giraffe sex and the evil baby orphanage.:

He totally won me over. Jacob. Yeah. (I really ought to watch his vlog more often.... rather than just catching bits from you and Pam.)

He picked Jacob. I love you, strange blogger I've never heard of until now.

All I have to say is Thank you! I'm a new reader of "bookshelves" and it has been an great experience to hear from others who love YA lit and have a sense of humor like mine and who dare to say things like "there's something really weird about the love relationships in Twilight" (but John Green is right - be careful about saying it in a room full of teenage girls!) or "I'm not sure if Giving Tree is as great as everyone says it is" - I've never been confident enough to say that out loud. Dare I say that I hate the Cat in the Hat? Anyway... I watched John Green's post about Giraffe sex, then went to Nerdfighters and then Brotherhood 2.0 - AWESOME! The only bad thing is that I'm now spending too much time online and not getting any reading done!
