Dad:  I flipped open a Vanity Fair yesterday and found an old-fashioned-looking pin-up of Kristin Bell.  I think I'm going to watch Veronica again.

Me:  Again?  (Silently:  For the third time?  In two months?)

       ...

       Aside, to Josh:  Hey, Dad totally has a crush on Kristin Bell.

Dad:  Hey, now.  I don't know if I'd call it a crush.

         ...

         But I did notice that pin-up pretty quickly.

I think I may have watched Veronica Mars seasons 1 and 2 in permanent repeat for the first two months I owned them. Kind of like when I read and reread Harriet the Spy.

I forced my dad to watch Battlestar Galactica from the beginning with me this past week when I visited him.
