Of course, I must point out that the Moomins are actually, er, strange Finnish creatures.


Oh, yeah, Jansson was Finnish, right? Oops. Well, according to the Wikipedia article, they were first published in Swedish... so I'll give it a pass!


A friend of mine claims that Finland and Sweden are the same thing, so...
