Wandering around the kidlit blogs this morning, I saw* the cover of Courtney Summers' upcoming book:
I knew I'd seen something very like it very recently. With a little sleuthing, I found what I was looking for:
Always nice to know that I'm not going bananas.
*At The Story Siren.

Would you believe that the stock photo (the one of the girl on Leap of Faith) was on CUTB's original cover, but then there was this hiccup with the image of said girl, so I got a new cover (the one you see now). They did a photoshoot for the new girl and tried to make her similar to the old one... thus the similarity. Heh. I thought they succeeded and now I ~know~. Keen eye, lady, keen eye. :)

Not to mention that zombie cheerleader book that has a zombie cheerleader on the cover in a similar position! Zombie cheerleaders are such copycats!

I love fun-with-stock-photos! I had this seem deja vu experience with 2 books on the Scholastic & Flux lines last spring. Have you seen this website that compare trends in YA jackets?

Good find!!! I saw Cracked Up to Be and thought it looked similar to Generation Dead but that has nothing on Leap of Faith!
