I am so very off my game -- this story broke a couple of weeks ago:

So, in an example of how twisted our legal system can be, Cosmic Debris (owners of the Emily the Strange property) has sued Marjorie Sharmat and Marc Simont.

This strikes me as dunderheaded and obscene. The original swipe seems so obvious given the amount of supporting examples that I was wondering why Sharmat and Simont hadn't sued. It seems like some karmic intervention is in order here.
