If you start this, you'll never have free time again! (You have joined the Cult of Cataan.) My sisters introduced me to this game and it will suck you right in. We get a bit obsessive at family get-togethers.

Whatever you do, don't start playing "Pompeii" which is by the same people. I like it even more.

Leila

Oh, nooooo! You have doomed me.

Now I have to go and call Josh to tell him.

Jessi

Haha! I've only played once, but I immediately went out and bought my own copy. Now I just need someone to play with...:)

Leila

Well, if you come to Maine, you can play with us.

Charlotte

good grief, now I will have to find Pompeii too! What I recommend is Seafarers of Cataan. I like the boats.

Wendi Gratz

Oooh - we love the Cataan games. We even got Kids of Cataan to play with our daughter. Thanksfully, she's almost old enough for the real thing now. . .

Sharry

I've wanted to play this game for so long! You've just increase my curiosity about the "fun-ness" of this game-

Charlotte

And I was thinking there is probably a market for Cataan tee shirts in your store. Of the top of my head: "I traded two sheep and a brick for this shirt." "You might have the longest road, but I have the biggest army." etc.

Sarah

I started playing Catan in college-many many college nights were spent with friends playing that game. I haven't played much since, since you really need three or more people to play. But reading your post made me want to break out my game and start playing again.

becka

Love it. We have played hundreds of games. I would totally wear a "I traded two wheat and a sheep for this shirt" shirt.
