They do seem to kill the reader off a lot, don't they?
My favorite Choose Your Own Adventure is the parody one Garth Nix put in "Across the Wall". I think it was called "Down to the Scum Quarter".

Oh man, those books used to drive me nuts. (I always seemed to end up being turned into a mosquito and getting squished.) Wish I'd had the brains to put one of those together.
