Laika is one of my all time favorite graphic novels but man - Nick breaks your heart with that story. The facts are sad enough but the way he draws Laika and the ones who care about her. It slayed me. I love what he has done here - my favorite, of course, is the first one where she returns to the person who loved her the most.
