...I've got a quiz up, about Sapphire and her new book, of all things.
Also! I just want to point y'all towards this blog post by Vicky Smith about her childhood love of Elizabeth Peters and Barbara Michaels. Although I never got around to writing about Rosemary Clement-Moore's The Splendor Falls last year, I've totally described it (in real life) as the YA version of a Barbara Michaels novel.
So I think it's way rad that she felt the same way!

Oh my god. I *have* to read Splendor Falls now. When it came out I got about fifteen pages in, put it down for whatever reason and never picked it up again. I was a fiend for Barbara Michaels as a teen. I just got a galley of Texas Gothic at RWA last week, so it looks like a Rosemary Clement-Moore fest this weekend.
