<p>And even AFTER I read the book, while I was writing about it, I kept wanting to use the word 'paranormal' even though the book is TOTALLY NOT A PARANORMAL. Like you, I blame the cover. Not that sorting books by cover gender is the way to go, but I think there's a lot of guys who missed out on this because of the overly romantic feel of the cover. It reminded me of Steven Gould's Jumper, but the cover holds it back from sitting alongside that book. </p>
