...so far.
Hmmm. Of the teen picks, I've read 5/10. I really need to read The False Prince and Starters, both of which are sitting in my TBR pile. As are Pandemonium (I still haven't read the first one, though) and Insurgent. And the Handler/Kalman, which I should ILL right now, while I'm thinking of it.
As much as I enjoyed Shadow and Bone, it had enough issues that it definitely wouldn't make my Top Ten.
The Storyteller (which didn't make the list), however, would. That book needs more love and attention. So. Go read it, please!
Thank you.

I've read 7 of the 10. I'm almost done with Pandemonium on audio, and it's only so-so for me. I'm rebelling against The Fault in Our Stars, but I do have a copy of Why We Broke Up that I should crack into. So, all in all, not bad!

Given your love of MWT's Queen's Thief series, I think you'll really like The False Prince. I noticed a lot of similarities between Gen and Sage, but that probably also helped me figure out some things before other readers might have. Still, I found it to be an enjoyable read.
I tried to read Pandemonium and whatever the first book in the series was called, but I just couldn't get into them. I was able to buy into other dystopian worlds, like that of the Hunger Games and Divergent, but I never found this one believable.
I think The Fault in Our Stars is worthy of whatever accolades it's receiving, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to read it again, knowing how freaking sad it is.
I gave my mom Divergent and Insurgent for her birthday and she devoured them in about two days. I gave my dad Code Name Verity for his birthday and he said he liked it, though he didn't seem overly enthusiastic (of course, he's not the type to ever get too excited about anything, so I'm not quite sure how he really felt about it).
