*headsmack.* Really, what more can be said? You don't think a lot of school-age kids these days have already seen a family w/2 moms/dads? Whether or not the parents disagree that it should be happening doesn't seem relevant. It's in books b/c it's in "real life." Some folks just need to deal.
In addition, those who object are categorizing same-sex parenting as a sexual issue. But it's also (and some could argue, *more* so) about identity.

My question is, if the parent is worried about their kid learning something inappropriate from library books, why aren't they checking their kid's books, rather than removing them from everyone else? Oh. Right. Lazy and ignorant. Carry on.
