For the last week, I've been mostly offline here, but my columns have continued to run over at Kirkus. The last three books I've written about have been: Ned Vizzini's The Other Normals (remember Guardians of the Flame?), Graham McNamee's Beyond (girl! in danger! because her own shadow is trying to kill her!), and Elizabeth George's The Edge of Nowhere (I had fun with it, but many will snooze).
Of the three of them, I had the most fun with The Other Normals, hands down*, but they all had their strengths.
*I mean, obviously. LOOK AT THAT COVER!
