Surprisingly enough, we didn't lose power for any significant amount of time.
(Well, long enough to have to reset the clocks, but not long enough that we had to use any of the many containers of water that we filled ahead of time.)
The neighbors' dead tree did NOT fall on our house, no leaks, no damage, nothing. Lots of school cancellations—not us, though, so I'm writing this from the library—and some power outages, but nothing too dreadful.
While I'm relieved that we didn't get nailed, I know that a lot of you out there did, and I'll be thinking of you. I know that people are busy and that none of the clean-up/aftermath/repairs/being-without-power-for-days part of storms is particularly happy-making, but I'd love to hear from you just to know that everyone is safe and sound.
BIG HUGS, and love to you all.

Glad you're safe. I have friends in New Jersey who had it rough.
