Um, yes. Same here. The bewildering second one, where nothing whatsoever except Padme's outfits happened... the abrupt prequel conclusion... the hackneyed additions to the original... yeah.
On one hand, the worldbuilding is so strong that there is indeed more room for many more stories.
On the other, they need new foundations on which to build... so, it could be interesting, and especially sans Geo, it will maybe be a more subtle tale...
