WHERE IS SPOCK? I can't see him. I need Spock!! He's in the movie, right? RIGHT?

Leila

He's on the IMDb page, so I think you're safe! <3

Amanda

Brief glimpse of Spock at about half-way through (0:32)

dangermom

Oh, good. *whew* There is just something about that guy...

ProfessorMortis

So I'm alone with my cranky self thinking this looks like a) generic "sci-fi" action movie b) not like Star Trek c) crap? I'll go run to my cranky crankypants cave then.

Leila

Oh, it kind of does look generic, but even so, I enjoyed the first one enormously, and am hoping that this one will be just as fun. (And NO RUNNING TO YOUR CRANKYPANTS CAVE! We LIKE squabbling about movies!)

ProfessorMortis

I think the key is, I found the first movie to be kind of "eh".

Leila

That, then, suggests that you're likely to be underwhelmed by this one as well. :D

Speaking of SF, the MARATHON IS APPROACHING.

ProfessorMortis

Perhaps this year I can actually get my ass to it!

Leila

And that is worth a squee right there: SQUEEEEEEEEE!
