The story about the Kirsten doll did make me cry.
And the article about the moron who thinks that ebooks and computers mean that there is no need for libraries is an elitist, oblivious, jerk who clearly knows nothing nor cares to learn) about the digital divide and how income disparity and the disparity amongst educational levels make libraries even more vital and essential today than they were thirty years ago. For crying out loud, you can't even get a print version of the NC driver's manual anymore. You can only access it via the web. Voter registration is almost exclusively online too. Good grief.
