...has a screenwriter (and a producer):
Now Heat Vision reports that Stuart Beattie (Collateral, 30 Days of Night) has been tapped to write the script for the feature film adaptation, with Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Huntsman) onboard to produce.
The 30 Days of Night movie was both a super movie and a super adaptation, so that's hopeful.
(Embarrassingly, I still haven't read DoS&B. I should get on that.)

Very excited! I think if done right this could make an excellent film. With potentially some gorgeous cinematography. (AND GO READ IT!)
