I thought Hailie Steinfeld was fantastic in True Grit, and Damian Lewis is fantastic in everything, though I didn't even recognize him in this trailer. But this must be a young person's story. When I was a teenager, I was very taken with it. As an adult, I tend to go, "Really? One of you thought this was a good plan?"

Someone must have heard me musing about Ed Westwick as Hamlet. PERFECT TYBALT. Shame he has to be slain.

I want to see a production that makes it clear that the actual subject of R & J is Verona, and what the Ms and Cs have done to the city as embodied in Tybalt, Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet. Alas, never going to happen and so people will continue to either swoon or despise.

did they really need the line that explains how one is a capulet and one a montague?
