Okay, okay. I'm in.
To honor (dubiously, of course) the eight gazillion days of rain we've just had:
Rain
I opened my eyes
And looked up at the rain,
And it dripped in my head
And flowed into my brain,
And all that I hear as I lie in my bed
Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head.
I step very softly,
I walk very slow,
I can't do a handstand--
I might overflow,
So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--
I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.Shel Silverstein
Is it wrong to find Shel Silverstein hot? I have a bet going.

Um, yes.

I think.

Well, okay. I can see the attraction, but I think that his creepiness factor ultimately cancels out any possible hotness.

my god are you serious?
he looks like one of those creepy dolls with the poppy out eyes.
if there are such things.
if there are not, they would obviously be terrifying.

The non-poppy-out-eye photos are more attractive. Very creepy, yes, but I could see there being an attractive quality. Sort of.

Yep, a hottie. Maybe you have to be a woman of a certain age to say that, though.

Yes it's wrong. He's totally dead.

If it's okay to think fictional characters are hot, it's okay to think dead people are hot. Leila has spoken.
But I'm still on the fence due to the creepy factor.

john wayne's dead, right? he's totally hot.
ooh, and andrew jackson too.

Also young James Coburn. Hot.
Andrew Jackson??? You are a strange, strange girl.
Posted by: Leila | 19 May 2006 at 03:50 PM
ANDREW JACKSON? Crikey.

Oh, that was the best series of comments ever. And as for Silverstein, all I remember is being entirely grossed out by the feet on the jacket of my "Where the Sidewalk Ends" as a kid. Now I just find it funny. And funny is pretty darn attractive.
