Ok, first. Yes, Superman is boring. Nothing can beat him, except a mineral that is unbelievable prevalent, and even then they don't follow their own rules. Unless they were to give him actual psycological issues to deal with I can't muster any interest. The movie was kinda pretty, though.

Second, mmm Eccleston. He's rather infectious. I remember my mom watching these when I was a kid, but I don't remember much other than the hair and the scarf. I think they must have been PBS reruns or something. I don't think that Eccleston comes back for the second season, though. Sorry.

No, I know. I've been madly looking at the BBC website. (I now have a Dalek picture on my work computer desktop -- no wonder my co-workers think I'm a weirdo.)

I watched one of the interviews with Eccleston and just howled, because he said something to the effect of: "I never watched Doctor Who as a child, because I don't like camp. The new Doctor Who isn't campy at all." If he really believes that, he's deluded. It's so totally campy. In a very good way, of course.
