The new Frances Hardinge book is available -- but not here in the States. (Well, an Australian edition seems to be available on Amazon, but that won't help libraries that don't do much ordering from Amazon or, you know, many actual real-life bookstores.)
What's up with that, HarperC? You put out Fly By Night. We want Verdigris Deep, and we want it now, dammit! Get. On. It.
>cackles<
My plan is coming to fruition. Soon ALL the blogs will be complaining about the lack of Verdigris Deep in the U.S. and Harper Collins will have no choice but to submit to our will. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I mock you from my tiny island :)
Atlhough considering I seem to have endless trouble getting books because they're out in the US first, I think turnabout is fair play. Well, not really, not being able to get hold of books is frustrating as hell and you have my sympathy.
It's very good - better than Fly by Night in my humble opinion, the sense of audience is more assured.

Looks like it'll be available in Canada next month, for those close to the border.
