I have a personal hypothesis that somewhere, there is someone with very little talent simply because Hugh Laurie got it all. Like universal balance, or something. Or maybe it's more accurate that all the people who wish they had particular talents (i.e., I wish I could play the piano) have Hugh Laurie to thank for getting a personal arseload.

I mean, have you read The Gun Seller? It's his novel, a spoof of the spy genre that's, quite literally, better than any other mystery/spy novel I've ever read with the possible exception of The Big Sleep. It really is that awesome.
