Not only has he signed a contract to write a new Hitchhiker's book*, Airman is going to be made into a movie.

I think I figured this out. Remember NIGHT COURT? In the pilot episode, Harry got asked how someone as wacky as he got made a judge. He explained that the committee that appoints municipal judges had a list of 28 possible judges to fill one slot. Harry was number 28 on the list. The committee called down the list until they reached someone...and that was Harry. So he got appointed a judge simply because he was home to answer the phone.
This is how we pass on the legacy of a comic genius.

Wow.
I can't believe that you remember the plot of the pilot episode of Night Court.

Technically, it wasn't the plot, it was the last few lines of the episode. What I remember of the plot was that everyone was reeling at this wacky new judge who kept deciding cases by the flip of a coin. In the final case, I think it had something to do with domestic abuse (a wife hurting her husband), Harry said, "Heads I send your wife to prison, tails I let her go free." The husband, still in love with his wife, protested because, "It always comes up heads!" And Harry says, "Of course it does. It's a two-headed coin."
I can quote most of THE FIVE DOCTORS from memory. I can tell you the plot of any GILLIGAN'S ISLAND episode within the first ten seconds (even those eps that start with a six second shot of the lagoon). You really don't want to know what's stored in my brain.

I can quote most of The Five Doctors, too. And Newsies. And also Grease and the original Hairspray.
But, wow, man. Gilligan. You are hardcore.

Oh, and Goonies, of course.

Airman animated? Ugh. Live action would be so much better.
