Not to worry. Deck chairs are specifically engineered to crumple under pressure from car bumpers. As are trash cans. And garage doors. (Okay, maybe not garage doors.)

I hope the moss covered decorative thingy wasn't cement. I seem to find many small rockesque things with which to scratch bumpers and doors... And yes. I agree: nature provides a crumple zone for deck chairs...
