You had me at "liked the movie Brick."

Leila

I loved that movie. Not nearly enough people have seen it, I think. And the book doesn't have exactly the same tone, but it falls into that cool film-noir-story-set-in-and-around-a-high-school category. I really loved this one.

Have heard SO MANY good things about this one!!!

This one sounds really good! I loved Brick - and Cracker!

In love with this book

OMG! This was one of the best books I've ever read. I read it because it was nominated for White Pine, so I picked it up and couldn't put it back down

Casey

Thanks for the review. It made me read the book and I'm really glad I did. Loved Dooley and I can't wait to read more about him.

I THOUGHT IT WAS AMAZING!
i really loved Dooley's character and the ending was so unexpected.

when is the trilogy coming out?

beth

The second book is out now, with a third following in February. Again, the mystery is second to Dooley's life, and I really like how description is replaced by action and dialogue.
