Man. It was pretty fantastic, but it also kind of made me want to stab myself.

LOL yeah this one is like insanely great/haunting/freaky. Did you hear they are already starting production on an American version like next month *sigh* That's gonna suck.

Weird, I just watched this for the first time about 2 weeks ago. And heartily agree with your review -- amazing, but so dark.

This was one of the best movies I've ever seen...but it was sorta haunting/waaay too intellectual for me. :P

While I'm aware that I'm not the center of the universe, hearing the news that an American version is in the works makes me feel like Hollywood hates me.

I didn't think it was that scary, I thought it was and amazing film though.
I found it clever how vampire folklore was entwined in the story, such as cats, sunlight and the invitation of a vampire
