- The Book Maven's Bottom Ten Books of 2009. The curmudgeon in me (getting stronger every year!) would like to see more of these.
- The decade's best unread books. This list includes Black Juice. Well, YEAH! ... Oops. I read it and loved it and apparently never wrote about it, which means that I AM PART OF THE PROBLEM. I did write about Red Spikes, though. Still love that cover.
- Ten of the best child narrators. In this guy's opinion, anyway. Meh.
- I didn't know that Roald Dahl wrote a Bond script.
- Romantic Novel of the Year 2010 Longlist.
- And, for the first time, The Morning News has released their ToB longlist. Oooo. No YA nominee this time, though. *SOB*

*I have no idea why the SPAM song is in my head. Earlier today it was The Addams Family theme song. Some days are difficult.
After reading the description I can't believe you haven't written anything about Black Juice either! I want to read it but I've never even heard of it. Off to see what your review of Red Spikes is all about.

What, Youth in Revolt's Nick Twisp didn't make it onto the list of best child narrators? Thanks a pantsload, John Mullan. You owe C.D. Payne an apology.

Dang, why didn't I think of a doing a "bottom books of 2009" list?!
That's brilliant. I wish someone would do a YA version. Hint, hint.
