Now I want to read Great Expectations for the Big Read VI.
I need more hours in the day. Or the ability to get by on less sleep.
I love what he wrote about "Great Expectations"! I get so out of temper -- I shouldn't, but I do -- with all those people who whine about being "forced to read Dickens." "Waaaah, my teachers MADE ME READ GREAT LITERATURE and it scarred me forever!! How DARE they!" Yeah, cry me a river. There are little kids in Africa who don't even have books.
And yes, you totally should do "GE" for a big read! :-)
