I think this is positive. Very. It didn't take long, eh? Wonder what the author thinks, though...

Wow. Quite the mea culpa at their site about the switch, too! I'm sure Jackie will be pleased to have the character look more as she's described. The original cover was beautiful, of course, but didn't really represent the MC as she was described.

I don't know how I feel about this. From what I read from the author's blog, it didn't seem that she was too concerned about the cover - that she would rather focus on the writing and that the cover just is what it is. I think publishers should be more cognizant of a book's contents and try to match the covers to the books themselves, of course, but I don't know how I feel about the blogging community ganging up on them when they make a slight error - which doesn't even seem like an error, according to the author. It is a work of fiction, and the cover image is in shadow. This whole controversy leaves me with mixed feelings.
