Thank you to the person who suggested listening on line through librivox.org. I listened to most of the book and finished it. Great story but I will reveal nothing Leila!

Got a post up! (http://tuulenhaiven.wordpress.com/2010/01/18/the-big-read-v-the-woman-in-white-installments-5-and-6/) The schedule keeps confusing me - according to my tattered note, as of today, the 18th, I should be at page 407. I've read that far anyway - did I get ahead somehow?

I think it's awesome that Fosco admires Marian so much. It seems incredibly unfair that she's sick... I have a suspicion that the outcome of the story will somehow have a lot to do with how similar in appearance Anne Catherick and Laura are...! And I am dying to know the SECRET!!

Leila

It's because I'm still behind -- but I should have another post up by the end of the day! (I keep getting distracted!)

Gina

It's so creepy when Fosco takes over the diary. Kind of like one of Agatha Christie's more chilling moments.

Susan

I have listened to the book on tape and loved it, but I missed how were marion and laura related.
