Can I just say...I spent Easter with my 91 year-old grandmother. She got together with her friends one night for dinner, and I tagged along. No one at the table under the age of 90, you understand? And they're all very well-read, and interesting, and just plain fun. And you know what else? I was gosh darn glad I'd read a Nicholas Sparks novel! Because that's all they wanted to talk about for at least a quarter of the dinner. Yep. Even the great-grandmotherly set reads Sparks.
