That's... an incredibly huge spoiler. That's one of the biggest spoilers I've ever seen.
Glad that, like you, I never read past the first book.

Sally

Oh dear I really really want to read the spoiler but the book is already on it's way to my house so I really shouldn't - dilema.

Sally

Oh No! Why did I read it? Why?

Denise

Gah. I'm so glad you said there was a spoiler! I almost clicked that link this morning. Do not want spoiler!

Leila

Sally: OH NO!

Denise: Good, I'm glad to've been able to warn you in time!

HA! I won't write what I hope, as it would be spoilage.

Leila

See your FB messages for a link to the ULTIMATE in spoilage.

HELLO, what kind of an interview was that!?

Well, the author knew what was going in - surely she wanted this for the drama revs some people are getting out of guessing who ...

Quelle annoying. I was assigned the first book in grad school, and had fun deconstructing it (sorry. It wasn't as bad as some, but meh) but otherwise - zero interest.

Annie

Didn't Dawson's Creek end like that, too?

Leila

SPOILER:

Yes. Yes it did.

Beth

WOW. What is *wrong* with people?

Doret

OMG that was a hugh freakin spoiler. Who does that. The worst spoiler ever.

The author should take as much of the blame for allowing that question to be asked and answered. Tanita as a point about the drama but its's still wrong.

I googled "who dies in sisterhood everlasting" just to see what would happen. the first review I opened I got the answer.

Leila

I wonder if it happens right at the beginning, then?

Doret

From the review it sounded like it happens midway in. But hell, I just read the PW review and they it said there as well, so maybe it wasn't a secret.

tess

Oh my GOD.

Just, wow. Who thought putting that up was a good idea, seriously.

The Kirkus review has the same spoiler but more detailed: http://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/fiction/ann-brashares/sisterhood-everlasting/.
