I'm still totally creeped out by the animation and I loathe 3D, but... I'm going to see it:

I hate 3D. I hate animation that is *almost,* but not quite, human.
But...Steven Moffat wrote the script. I *have* to see this. And the trailer (minus the visuals) actually looked really good!

I'm surprised that my principal reaction is "TINTIN WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE A BELGIAN ACCENT." The animation is just the wrong side of the uncanny valley... but I still want to see it. Maybe. Dubbed in French.

Weirdly uncanny. I'm quite frightened that they will ruin one of my favorite Tintin stories. I'll go see it anyway. BTW, does this mean they're counting on a sequel? I don't see any evidence that they folded Red Rackham's Treasure into the movie, so there will have to be one, yes?
