From Blood Red Road:
If you seen me an Lugh together, you'd never think we was the same blood.
Never think we grew together in the same womb.
He's got gold hair. I got black.
Blue eyes. Brown eyes.
Strong. Scrawny.
Beautiful. Ugly.
He's my light.
I'm his shadow.
Lugh shines like the sun.
That must have made it easy fer them to find him.
All they had to do was follow his light.
Think of the stubbornest heroine you've ever encountered.
Now think of the crankiest.
The most resistant to friendship and slowest to trust.
The most defiant and determined.
Add them together, multiply by eight hundred, and you might almost start to imagine just how difficult Saba can be.
Did you love Graceling? Read this book.

The Reapers are the Angels? Read this book.
The Blue Sword? Read this book.

She's in the UK. I blew off a luncheon this weekend (with good excuse) which Jane Yolen attended, but am going to be in the same room with Prince Charles next weekend. At the rate I'm going I'm going to meet all the important people in the whole UK, so obvs I must read this book.

Yay! I'm so glad you liked this book, too. Compared to Divergent and Delirium, Blood Red Road is not getting enough attention, and it deserves every bit we can give it.
Best book I've read this year, hands down.

It is SO TOTALLY going on my Best of the Year list.

You just had to list The Blue Sword and I would have gone diving for an ILL form - but Graceling too? Now I really MUST read this.

I loved it a lot. (Although I wasn't sure I was going to when I picked it up . . .)

I really enjoyed this book! I am looking forward to the sequel. :)

But what if you enjoyed some of those and not others?
(I'm sure I will still read this, but that's always my first reaction with lists like that. :))

Depends on the reasons you enjoyed/didn't enjoy! :)
