And she succeeds in that, right up until Sebastian Von Traum walks into her shop looking for mandrake root. Turns out, the Vatican's after him, too, but for very different reasons...
Eh. It's a perfectly serviceable—I can't think of any major complaints, but I also can't think of any real highlights—adult paranormal romance, but nothing to get excited about unless you're dying for an urban paranormal with a large dollop of astrology.
