I mean, I was anyway, just due to the description, what with the Roanoke and the voices of the dead and the misfit girl and the teen criminal and the alchemists and the feds... but now, the beautiful cover has me swooning all over my living room:

Full disclosure: Although we've never met in person, I consider Gwenda a friend. But, come on. A plot line that includes all of those things AND a cover like that? So totally up my alley. I'd even give it a try if John Grisham wrote it.
