This is great--there are so few books out there that tackle this issue. And good inspiration for me, since I'm thinking of writing a novel that takes place in a mental institution.


Interesting -- I always appreciate your honest reviews. I saw some mixed reviews about this one in the professional journals -- but all of them mentioned a simplistic and too-tidy end. I might check it out at some point, just because I'm curious.


The end was pretty tidy, I guess, and it definitely ended on an 'up' note, but it didn't give me the impression that all of Sabrina's difficulties were over.
