Do you know if an algorithm come up with these statistics, or did they poll Goodreads users? Seems like that would influence the findings... or not, which would be even more interesting.

There is (annoyingly tiny) text under the first two sections that states where they pulled their data from, but I have no idea about the others. Probably similar sources? I dunno. :(

I seem to recall that at least the final question was actually a poll on their site. It wouldn't surprise me if the other two questions were as well.

haha! Moby Dick has been on my night table for who knows how long, and I've never started Ulysses for the thought of never finishing it...
