Oh thank god I thought I was the only one. I just can't get with her...thing. (Also, I read Weetzie Bat in grad school and vaguely remember the suggestion that HIV can be cured with the power of love? But don't quote me on that. But if that's real then I have a problem with that.)
That said, some kids get really into her books so I usually have one or two on the shelves.
