I'm the parent quoted in the article (and a regular subscriber to your feed...is it weird that I was super excited to see it on your blog?) It's too bad the article didn't mention the kids' protests at school. A number of kids wrote "451" on their faces/hands and the kids who make the announcements changed the quotes of the day to quotes from "Farenheit 451". A tad dramatic, but so cool they did that on their own.

Wicked cool that they got involved on their own -- I hope pictures/descriptions of their involvement filter out into social media and into the news!
